» What is the star rating of the Hotel Alimandi Tunisi?
We’re a 3 star hotel, but our sister hotel, the Alimandi Vaticano is a 4 star and you’re welcome to use most of the services offered there.
» What kind of 4 star services are available to me?
For a competitive fee, you can use our private transfer services to either of the city’s airports or Civitavecchia Sea Port; you’ll have access to the Alimandi Vaticano bar, the possibility of a babysitting service and private secure parking at our cheap daily rate. In addition, both hotels enjoy the same high quality concierge service.
» Speaking of a concierge, how can you help us make the trip of a lifetime?
Our expert concierge service not only provides informed advice about the best places to eat and the best sights to see, they’ll also assist you with all the arrangements. Being so close to the Vatican, many people ask us to arrange tours or tickets for an audience with the Pope. We can’t guarantee anything, but if you ask us far in advance we’ll see what we can do.
» Is the Hotel Alimandi Tunisi a good environment for kids?
Absolutely – it’s safe, secure, pleasant and our spacious public areas make for an all round serene environment ideal for families.
» How can we reserve a room with no deposit?
We don’t require a deposit but you will be asked to submit your credit card details when you book online. We’ll then put a ’hold’ on your card for the price of your first night. You won’t be charged, but if you fail to show up or cancel late, we’ll be able to charge you for that first night. Assuming your trip goes according to plan, you’ll make payment as normal when you come to check out.
» The Hotel Alimandi Tunisi is by the Vatican Museum entrance, but how far is that from the rest of Rome’s treasures?
The underground is about 100 metres away – that will take you anywhere in the city by day. Otherwise, it’s about a half hour walk to the River Tiber, across which is the heart of this great and ancient city and all of its treasures.
